If you are independent on a daily bases at home, then no you do not need a carer. All rooms are designed for the independent wheelchair traveler. See - "Your Room"

Yes, we do provide a carer if needed. All our staff are trained by the local Thai school for the disabled. If you require minimal assistance with lifting etc. We provide this service free of charge.
If you require special attention then that can be organized on a one to one specific bases. See - "Services" for cost on full time carer.

Our carers are all Thai nationals and trained in the basic day to day lifting and transfer procedures. They do not provide medical care or undertake any medical procedures. If medical assistance is required, then this can be organized through trained nurse or doctor.

No not one step or set of stairs. The whole village has been purpose built for total wheelchair accessibility. This includes the swimming pool, 2 metre wide pathways, 5 square metre bathrooms and even the bar is built to wheelchair height.
