Barbara Corstorphan - / Profile /
Barbara currently resides in Melbourne. She has a keen interest and considerable
knowledge and experience in the areas of health, environmental sustainability
and independent travel.
Trained as a nutritionist, dietitian and secondary school teacher, Barbara
began her lifelong journey in health and well-being over 25 years ago.
After working in hospitals in Perth, Western Australia as a dietitian,
Barbara then taught in the areas of Psychology, Biology, Health and Human
Development, Food Technology and Personal Development.
Over the past 12 years, with further studies in massage, yoga and meditation,
she has been developing a series of well-being programs.

In
2000 Barbara was appointed as Development Director for a large Well
Being Centre project in Australia from which she gained insights into
myotherapy and water-based therapies, as well as water therapy centre
design.
Barbara's passion for adventure has taken her on extensive independent
travel throughout North America, Europe, Turkey, North Africa, South-East
Asia, the Pacific Islands, Australia and New Zealand.
She has combined her travel with adventure sports such as scuba diving,
hot air ballooning, sailing, canoeing, assailing, and horse riding.
Highlights of her Australian adventures are scuba diving on the Great
Barrier Reef and a 3 week light plane expedition through outback Australia
to the "Top-end".
